Cole was so helpful in tutoring our son for the ACT and with the college applications process. He is so easy to work with and communicated well with our son and with us. Our son’s ACT score improved from a 26 to a 32. We are convinced that Cole’s tutoring and encouragement helped our son and now he has some great choices of colleges to choose from. We have recommended him to other families who have also had great experiences working with Cole, too!
Cole has been amazing for both my daughter and son! He helped my daughter raise her ACT score several points in a short period of time and also improved her overall test-taking confidence. He also helped my son in several 8th grade courses such as Math, English and Spanish. We engaged Cole Carter’s assistance to help my rising senior increase her ACT score. Cole worked with her for 45 min, twice a week for several months, remotely. I was concerned about the help being remote since my oldest daughter had success with in person assistance.
We decided to try. I’m so glad we did. My daughter has ADHD, is medicated which helps but it’s still something to manage. She also has 2nd grade lexile functioning but is strong in science and math. In addition, she had a tough surgery this summer , which put her off of the prep study routine for few weeks.
She took the ACT 3 times while working with Cole. Went from 22 to a 28.50 with super scoring. She liked him as an individual, respected him and.. I discussed her medical and ADHD Diagnosis, and comprehension challenges with him on the front end. He said he felt he could help her. Each time she tested, her score increased. Sometimes just a point, sometimes 2 to 3 points.

Cole is an amazing tutor! He helped bring my daughter from her lowest ACT composite score of 27 to a 33 superscore! She brought her English score up to a 35! We had tried other more expensive tutoring programs, but she found them boring and her score didn’t budge. She saw Cole on Instagram and attended his free session the night before her next test, and just that session brought up her score significantly so we signed on for more tutoring with Cole! What she liked most about his method is that he provides real world strategies and explains things thoroughly and efficiently. He also provided lots of practice problems and resources. I was hesitant to have my child receive online tutoring vs face to face for the ACT. We decided to try because Cole was recommended by a friend. The sessions that Cole offered were wonderful. Cole sent weekly reminders to both the students and parents (perfect for those with ADHD). The class size was small enough for my child to ask any questions. Cole was even willing to answer any questions outside session times. Being able to meet one on one for 20 minutes for no extra charge was extremely helpful. Although my child had tutoring before taking her first test, her score was good enough to not need a second test. We chose to do this to see if the Math score would increase slightly, with Cole's help, it did. Thank you Cole, for being so supportive and willing to teach my child the necessary skills to be extremely successful on the ACT.
